Rockstar games have just announced the sequel to the critically acclaimed free-roam western Red Dead Redemption has been pushed to spring 2018 (USA spring) for PlayStation 4 and XboxOne.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting this new sequel, and while this does mean we'll get the game a bit later - Rockstar games were kind enough to soften the blow with some new screenshots to show the direction of the game.

"We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready. We are really excited to bring you more details about the game this summer. In the meantime, please enjoy this selection of new screenshots from the world of Red Dead Redemption 2."
