Klei Entertainment are back with a new game!

Not another fucking lava game!

Cast your feeble mind back to the days where imagination ran rampant and video games didn't consume your life. You'd throw sticks in your friends bike wheels and hone your pyromaniac skills with sparkler bombs to fill the day. Well of course it was only a matter of time before a developer decided to make a game based on one of our earliest imagination games "Pretending the floor is lava".

Klei Entertainment, the ones who brought us Mark of the Ninja and Don't Starve are back with their newest game Hot Lava. Basically its looking like a Mirrors Edge'esque game about parkouring through various scenes from childhood whilst also mixing it up with some acid trip levels.

The Steam page describes it so:

"The floor is lava!

Hot Lava transports you back to your childhood imagination. Relive those moments of excitement, joy and chaos. Traverse distinct worlds, from school hallways to the memories of your darkest fears. This is a game of dexterity and ingenuity, you will have to use all your skills to complete the treacherous obstacles that await.

But whatever you do…

Don’t Touch The Floor"

Reminds me of the ending to Terminator 2 ;(

Here's hoping it as fresh and funky as their previous games, keep your fucking eyes on Awkward Machine for more!
