Cyberpunk isometric shooter 'Ruiner' expected this year
A new stylish shooter backed by the god-like publisher Devolver Digital!08 Feb 2017
If you're like me and loved trudging the neon-soaked nightclubs of Hotline Miami, staining the Russian mob's white suits with red soup. Then you'll be pleased to know that our favourite publishers Devolver Digital have backed a new project named Ruiner.
Set in a cyberpunk reality this game features much of the same components of the aforementioned, but showcasing beautiful cell-shaded visuals with a comic-book feel, gory fast-paced combat and a huge selection of weapons and skills to turn the tide of some truly challenging combat.
"RUINER is a brutal action shooter set in the year 2091 in the cyber metropolis Rengkok. A wired sociopath lashes out against a corrupt system to uncover the truth and retrieve his kidnapped brother under the guidance of a secretive hacker friend. Combine preternatural reflexes, augmented tools, and the arsenal of fallen foes to tear down and dismantle the corporate titans of virtuality dealers at HEAVEN."
Unfortunately, all we know of the release date is that it's *this* year, but good things take time and this kid's hoping we have another addictive isometric shooter in the pipeline!
